Rebecca Schoenbaechler

Rebecca has a passion for dance and teaching children. She has been teaching dance in NorthEast Ohio for over 10 years, and has danced since she was 5 years old. Growing up she studied under Brenda and Christopher Stygar, Kimberly Lawver, Andrew Carroll, Cydney Spohn, Christina Foisie, Mary Ann Black, Tom Smith and more. She has trained in ballet, pointe, modern, and jazz. Rebecca has her Bachelor’s of Art degree in Dance from the University of Akron. Here she got the opportunity to take master classes from multiple companies, and perform in a number of shows. She has performed in many Nutcrackers as various roles, and other ballets such as Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. Rebecca lives in Medina, Ohio with her husband and 3 children, and is excited to teach at MCDA.
