Meet the Staff
Kelly Parks is the Owner/Director of MCDA and the Artistic Director for Trinity Dance!  She has been training dancers for over 25 years.  She has a B.A in Dance Management  with an Physical Education emphasis and is a member of the National Dance Association.  Kelly loves watching young dancers discover their potential.   She is the mother of 3 daughters,and has been married to her husband Scott for 20 years!   "I truely believe it is a privlege to share dance education with each of my students. " 

 
Michelle Clapacs has been teaching and choreographing for 20 years. She is respected throughout Northeast Ohio, and works for many different dance groups.  She enjoys sharing her talents with students and is always excited to teach.  She is the mother of Stephen and Alecia. 

 
Diana Meredyk has been teaching dance for more than 20 years. She earned a B.A. in Dance Management from Baldwin-Wallace College and ran her own dance studio for seven years. Diana was the Regional Director for Creative Dance for Children, a program designed for preschoolers, and has choreographed numerous musical theater productions. She truly enjoys being in the dance studio and teaching. Diana lives in Olmsted Falls with her husband and 4 children.


Ki
Kim Harbaugh
 has been involved in dance since she was 5 years old. She has many years of experience in tap, jazz, acrobatics, ballet, pointe, and lyrical and has been teaching for over 16 years. Kim has also performed and choreographed for a ballroom dance company which performs all over
Northeast Ohio
 and been in fashion and industrial shows as well. If you can't find her on stage then you might look back stage where she has been known to help out with costume adjustments, prop design and construction. Kim has been blessed with a wonderful family which includes her husband Len, and her children Hayley, Alex and Paige. She is certified in gymnastics safety by USA Gymnastics.

  

Sara Mion began dancing at the age of 8, focusing primarily in ballet, she was also a member of North East Ohio Dance Ensemble. During her high school years Sara was active with several community theater groups, and was the head choreographer for The Galaxy players productions of "The King and I", "A Christmas Carol" and "Guys and Dolls". Sara took ballet, and swing dancing while attending BGSU and Franciscan University of Steubenville where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education and a license to teach prek-grade 3. Sara was a teacher at St. Francis Xavier school for several years before joining our staff.

When she's not dancing, she is very much enjoying spending time with her husband and 3 children, Nathan, Noah and Elise!


Samantha Weinmann has been dancing since the age of 3 and has experience in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz modern, acro, lyrical, and hip-hop. She has just recently graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Dance Education. During her years at college she had the opportunity to student teach at Canton Country Day School and Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts. She performed in many student and faculty concerts, at the American College Dance Festival, and for Verlezza Dance. She was also a member of the Kent Dance Ensemble for two years. She is very excited to be teaching at MCDA.

 
Stephanie Krise began her dance training at The University of Akron's Dance Institute. She then continued her training at The North Carolina School of the Arts under Melissa Hayden and Warren Conover, and at the BalletMet under Yoko Ichino. Stephanie has spent summers training at The North Carolina School of the Arts, BalletMet, San Francisco Ballet, Nashville Ballet, Richmond Ballet, The National Hungarian Ballet and in New York with Doug Varone and Dancers as well as attending workshops with Paul Taylor Dance Company, Taylor 2, and Lines Ballet. Stephanie graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Akron with her B.A in Dance Performance and is currently dancing with Verb Ballets in Cleveland, Ohio. 



Stacey Stoll has been an avid Zumba Fitness enthusiast for 3 years. She got her license to teach Zumba and ZumbAtomic this year, and has been partying in her classes ever since! She was a dancer growing up, and has also taught Step Aerobic, strength, interval and circuit fitness classes. Stacey has been certified by IFA as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. Stacey is married and has two children who have danced at MCDA for 8 years. 

Shelia Schnepp, Office Manager
Lindsay Phillips is a recent graduate of The College of Wooster, where she recieved a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre & Dance. She was awarded both Honors on her senior thesis and Departmental Honors. She has studied with the Martha Graham Dance Company and world-renowned performance artist, Guillermo Gomez-Pena. SHe also spent a semester interning with the Mark Morris Dance Group (Brooklyn, NY). In addition to teaching, she is a choreographer and recently presented work for the second year in a row at IngenuityFest (Cleveland, OH). As a previous dancer of MCDA, she is excited to be back as a teacher.
